AEROBICS FOR ALL Wednesday 10:00 – 11:00

Aerobic section: Warm up/ aerobic exercise/ Warm down – 30 minutes
Toning section: Hand-held weights (a variety of weight are available) – 15 minutes
Mat-work section: Body conditioning/ stretching/ Relaxation – 15 minutes

Carol is a member of REPS (the Register of Exercise Professionals). Sessions available for both genders. Complimentary tea and coffee is provided at the end of each session.

The Pantomime group was formed 13yrs ago producing ‘Cinderella’ and has produced an annual January show every year thereafter. Beginners – Thursday 14:00 – 16:00               Players – Wednesday 20:00 – 22:00

Beginners: Classes commence on Thursday 5th October 2017, 2:00pm – 4:00pm. This class is for beginners who wish to play Bridge to basic ACOL rules. It also welcomes players who wish to refresh their knowledge and may have attended previous classes. You are all welcome and guidance will be given when playing.

Players: Classes commence on Wednesday 4th October 2017, 8:00pm – 10:00pm. This class is for players who have a sound knowledge of ACOL and enjoying playing at a reasonable level.

All classes are held at The Coplow Centre, Billesdon with 10 sessions before Christmas and a further 10 sessions in the New Year. There is a charge of £3 per session on a ‘pay-as-you-play’ basis. This includes refreshments and an easily understandable hand-outs. The emphasis is on enjoyment.

BROWNIES 1st Billesdon Wednesdays,                 school term time only 18:00 – 19:30

Brownies open up a world of exiting challenges and the opportunity to try new things and make brilliant friends. Through regular meetings, special events, day trips, sleepovers, camps and holidays, Brownies learn new hobbies and skills, explore other cultures and get adventurous outdoors. For girls aged 7 to 10 who follow a programme called the Brownie Adventure.

FITNESS CLASS Monday 9:15 – 10:15

A circuit style fitness class. Body weight exercises combined with exercises using resistant bands and medicine balls that can be tailored to different abilities and fitness levels. An effective all body workout for anyone looking to lose weight and tone up.

NETBALL Wednesday 18:00 – 19:00

Netball at the Coplow Centre Outdoor Court – floodlit in winter for all year play.
We comprise a wide range of age, fitness and ability, we don’t take ourselves too seriously but we do enjoy the camaraderie and lighthearted competitiveness of netball.
If you would like to have a go we welcome all ages from 14 upwards. Players take part at their own risk as there is no formal coach or instructor as such. (Under 18’s may play under the responsibility of a parent/guardian)

Friendly classes for all. Tai Chi originates from ancient China and is a system that uses smooth, slow body movements to achieve a state of relaxation of both body and mind. It is a physical exercise to improve and maintain health.

Billesdon WI is about women for women and we offer a warm friendly welcome. We are part of the National organisation and have a varied programme of events with a speaker at most monthly meeting. It is a busy go-ahead institute that gets involved in village activities plus planned outings, visits, walks, etc. It is an ideal way of meeting other people.
